POCO C71 Smartphone Spotted on the SIRIM and NBTC Certification Databases

Xiaomi’s upcoming POCO C71 smartphone has already been a part of a few reports and now, this device has made it to the SIRIM and NBTC certification platforms. The listing also confirms the launch of the smartphone both in Malaysia and Thailand.

POCO C71 – SIRIM and NBTC Certifications

The POCO C71 smartphone global model which bears the model number of ‘25028PC03G’ has appeared on the SIRIM and NBTC databases. The SIRIM authority has certified the device with the type approval code of ‘RGQL/52I’/0225/S(25-0458)’ and it has been categorized as a ‘Mobile Phone’. To add, its moniker is mentioned on the SIRIM database and the certification will be valid only till the 16th of February 2030.

The NBTC authority has given the certification with the certificate number of ‘B38091-25’ and the database points out that the device supports 2G/3G/4G network connectivity.

Speaking of previous updates, the POCO C71 was earlier spotted on the IMDA, EEC, FCC, and BIS certification databases. Also, the POCO C71 is expected to be a re-branded version of the Redmi A5 smartphone which also got certified by the SIRIM authority recently, apart from being listed on IMEI, IMDA, EEC, FCC, BIS, and TDRA databases.

About its revealed key specs, other than 2G/3G/4G connectivity, connectivity specs such as WiFi 5 (with dual band support), Bluetooth (BR + EDR + LE), and NFC (optional) will be supported. It will possibly run on the Android 15 based HyperOS 2.0 custom skin out of the box. Four storage models which include 3GB/64GB, 4GB/64GB, 4GB/128GB, and 6GB/128GB variants are also expected to be offered for the device.
