Reportedly, the Redmi K80 series will likely debut in China at the end of this month. The series is said to include Redmi K80 and Redmi K80 Pro devices. Previously Redmi K70 was launched as POCO F6 Pro while Redmi K70e was launched as POCO X6 Pro in the global markets.
Similarly, Redmi K80 could arrive as POCO F7 Pro and Redmi K80 Pro could arrive as POCO F7 Ultra globally. This will be the first time POCO introduces an Ultra model in its F series. Last month POCO F7 Pro and POCO F7 Ultra models were spotted on the IMEI database while today The Tech Outlook has spotted POCO F7 Pro with model number 24117RK2CG on the IMDA certification website.
The smartphone is revealed to arrive with 5G connectivity and support for Bluetooth, WiFi, and NFC. Other than this the database did not reveal much about the smartphone but it does hint towards its imminent global launch.
Redmi K80 is expected to be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, hence we may see the same chipset in POCO F7 Pro device as well.
