Last year in September, Qualcomm unveiled the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor and now this year the brand is rumored to launch the successor of this chipset- Snapdragon 7s Gen 3. Well, we don’t know the launch date yet but the chipset is expected to arrive with upgrades and improvements over its predecessor.
In July, this upcoming chipset also made its appearance on the Geekbench database. Tipster Evan Blass has now shared some key details regarding the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 SoC(QCTSD7SG3) on the X platform.

The chipset is revealed to offer 20% improved CPU performance, 40% faster GPU performance, 30% better AI performance, and 12% overall power savings. For connectivity, it is revealed to arrive with a 5G Modem-RF system, FastConnect Mobile Connectivity system, and Bluetooth 5.4. Camera features like triple ISP, AI Remoasic, and Video retouch are also said to be included.
For gaming, there will be Adaptive Perf Engine 3.0, VRS Pro, and AFME. Audio features like Spatial Audio, Aqstic Speaker Max Hi-Fi DAC, and Qualcomm aptX Lossless Audio are also revealed to arrive with this upcoming chipset. Users will also get to see AI features like Gen AI support and multi-language translation/ transcription.
Qualcomm is yet to reveal the launch date of the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset. Since Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC made its debut last year in September, the company is expected to launch this upcoming chipset in the same timeline.
