Following the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip of Qualcomm, the American semi conductor company is reportedly in the works with the upcoming Snapdragon 8s Elite chip, and in the recent past, we have already come across reports pointing out the smartphones from different brands that are coming with this new Qualcomm Snapdragon chip onboard.
Tipster Digital Chat Station, in his latest Weibo update, has tipped a few details concerning the upcoming Qualcomm Snapdragon chip, as well as the smartphones that will be arriving soon featuring it. Read more about it below.
Snapdragon 8s Elite-Powered Smartphones Tentative Launch Scheduled?
As mentioned, this update comes from the reliable tipster Digital Chat Station, who in his Weibo post notes that Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Elite chip (SM8735) is reported to have scored 200W+ points on AnTuTu benchmark platform as its highest score. While this is close to last year’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 flagship chip, it is a little behind in terms of the performance score. Moreover, the tipster adds that the CPU architecture is still with X4 + A720 cores, and the frequency setting is also said to be quite high.
Even so, the new smartphones from Chinese smartphone makers such as Xiaomi (Xiaomi Civi 5 Pro), Redmi (Redmi Turbo 4 Pro), OPPO, iQOO (iQOO Z10 Turbo), and Honor (Honor 400 Pro) which are believed to use the Snapdragon 8s Elite chip are currently being optimized and made ready as per the tipster, and the upcoming devices include ultra-thin camera phones, ultra-large battery performance phones, and more. Furthermore, Digital Chat Station concludes his Weibo update stating that the tentative launch for all these upcoming Snapdragon 8s Elite-powered smartphones have also been scheduled.
