Realme Note 60 spotted on SIRIM, BIS and TUV certifications, battery specs revealed

Realme may soon launch the successor to the Realme Note 50, called the Realme Note 60. This new smartphone has been spotted on several certification websites, indicating an imminent launch. Details of these certifications are outlined below.

Realme Note 60

Firstly, the Realme Note 60 was found on the Malaysian SIRIM certification site with the model number “RMX3933”, revealing the moniker. The listing shows it was approved on 12th June 2024 with the approval code “RGQL/03H/0624/S(24-2303)”.

Under the TUV certification, the same model number “RMX3933” is listed, though without the moniker. Thanks to SIRIM, we know the name. The TUV certification, however, reveals details about the charging and battery specifications. The Realme Note 60 may come with 10W fast charging support and a battery capacity of 4880 mAh, likely marketed as 5000 mAh.

This information is particularly interesting for the Indian audience, as the same model number “RMX3933” has been spotted on the Indian BIS certification website. This suggests that Realme may launch the Note 60 in the Indian market as well. However, there is some uncertainty, as the Realme CEO for Europe Francis Wong, stated earlier this year that the Note series smartphones would not be coming to the Indian market. If you recall, the Realme Note 50 was a rebranded of the Realme C51(India), so the Note 60 might be rebranded as the Realme C52 for the Indian market. The C series smartphones have always catered to budget-conscious customers, as does the newly launched Realme Note series.

Only time will tell whether Realme will launch this smartphone in the Indian market as a C series device or under the Note series.
