Red Magic 10 Pro Smartphone Listed on the Wi-Fi Alliance Database Following its Global Launch Confirmation
It is only going to be a week since reliable reports concerning the upcoming Red Magic 10 Pro smartphone have started to arrive. Following its appearance on the MIIT certification platform that pointed to its expected launch next month in China, the brand via its X/Twitter handle confirmed its global launch and the processor that would power the gaming device. Now, it has made it to the USA’s Wi-FI Alliance database, revealing a few more specs.

Red Magic 10 Pro – Wi-Fi Alliance Certification
The Red Magic 10 Pro smartphone which is believed to carry the model number of ‘NX789J’ has been certified by the Wi-Fi Alliance authority with the certification ID – ‘WFA132563’, and is mentioned to be a 5G mobile phone. The device is revealed to support WiFi 6, 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz dual band connectivity, Wi-Fi component firmware of ‘1.0.0.0.3066.5’, and ‘WPA2’ and ‘WPA3’ security standards. The database also adds that the device would be running on the Android 15 operating system out of the box, most probably with the Red Magic OS custom skin on top.
Coming to the other recent reports, as mentioned, the device has been MIIT certified and is officially confirmed to be the first gaming smartphone to arrive with the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset onboard. Just to clarify, previously it was said that the device could also be the first under-display camera smartphone with Snapdragon 8 Elite, however, it will be the Nubia Z70 Ultra that will have this title as per official update. Both the global launch and the launch in China have been confirmed with the recent updates, and we are expecting its debut in the month of November 2024, next month.
Speaking of few of its other expected specs, an OLED full-screen 1.5K display, under-display selfie camera, 6500+ mAh battery backup, independent gaming chip, integrated active cooling system, and dedicated gaming buttons are likely to be present on the upcoming smartphone.
