Looks like Redmi and Poco fans have something to look forward to in 2025! Two new budget-friendly smartphones have just popped up on the EEC certification website, hinting at an upcoming launch of the Redmi 14 4G and Poco M7 4G in European markets.
Here is more to it.
Redmi 14 4G and Poco M7 4G on EEC
The EEC listing shows two interesting model numbers: “25028RN03A” for the Redmi device and “25028PC03G” for the Poco phone. While these certifications don’t reveal the actual names, there’s more to the story.
Earlier reports from Gizmochina spotted the Redmi 14 4G in the IMEI database with a whole family of model numbers. We’ve got “25028RN03L” for Latin America, “25028RN03I” for India, “25028RN03Y” for the NFC version, and “25028RN03A” for the non-NFC variant. Meanwhile, the POCO M7 4G isn’t far behind, showing up with its own set of numbers: “25028PC03G”, “25028PC03I”, and “25028PC03Y”.
Reports suggest that the Redmi 14 4G will feature specifications similar to its predecessor, the Redmi 13 4G. Additionally, both the Redmi 14 4G and Poco M7 4G are expected to share similar specifications under different branding.
Although the model numbers begin with “2502,” potentially indicating a February release, past experience shows this isn’t always a reliable indicator. Both devices are expected to launch during Q2 of 2025.
