Redmi A5 Spotted On IMEI Database; Tipped To Launch In Global And Indian Markets

The smartphone brand Redmi launched the Redmi A4 5G smartphone in the Indian market last year in November and just after one month, a few model numbers of a Redmi smartphone were spotted on the IMEI database and it was believed to be the variants of the Redmi 14 4G smartphone but a new finding shares a different story.

A user named @erenylmaz075 on X has shared that model number 25028RN03Y model number has been spotted on the IMEI database with the moniker Redmi A5.

The non-NFC variant has also made its appearance on the EEC certification website.

It is said that Redmi A5 will make its debut in India as well as global markets while there will also be a POCO variant of Redmi A5, as a POCO device (likely POCO M7 4G) with different variants were also spotted on the IMEI database with similar model numbers as that associated with Redmi A5- 25028PC031 (India), 25028PC03L (Latin America) and 25028PC03Y (NFC).

As per the tipster, Redmi A5 will be arriving as a budget-friendly smartphone in the market. In the coming days, some more information related to the Redmi A5 device might surface online.
