Redmi K80 Smartphone Appears on the MIIT Database; Launch Expected by End of November 2024
Xiaomi’s Redmi K80 series is expected to debut in the Chinese market this month with the Redmi K80 and Redmi K80 Pro models, and in the recent past days, a lot about these two upcoming smartphones have been shared.
Now, the standard Redmi K80 device has made it to the MIIT certification platform of China, again pointing to its November 2024 launch. Read more about this new update below.
Redmi K80 – MIIT Certification
The Redmi K80 smartphone bears the model number – ‘24122RKC7C’, and has been listed on the MIIT database as a 5G digital mobile phone. It has received the MIIT certification with license number – ’02-B324-243495′, and the certification will be valid till the 30th of October, 2027.
Speaking more about the Redmi K80 smartphone, it has also received the 3C certification, revealing its 120W wired fast charge support. The device will also arrive in the global market, re-branded as the POCO F7 Ultra smartphone. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, 1.5K OLED display, 50MP triple rear camera unit, and an under-display optical fingerprint scanner are expected to be some of its other key specifications. The rear panel design featuring the Xiaomi Civi-like circular camera module of the Redmi K80 series was shared just a week back, and yesterday, we saw a glimpse of the Redmi K80 Pro smartphone’s front display, suggesting a flat display and metal middle frame.
As far as the launch is concerned, along with the other sub-flagships launching this month, Xiaomi is also believed to unveil its Redmi K80 series soon, and based on recent reports, the launch may take place by the end of November 2024.
