Redmi Pad 2 Tablet WiFi-Only Version Spotted on the FCC Certification Database: Few Specs and Schematics Revealed

Xiaomi’s upcoming Redmi Pad 2 tablet has been making its appearance on different certification platforms, and it was earlier spotted on the BIS, IMDA, TDRA, and EEC databases. Now, this device bearing the model number of ‘25040RP0AL’ has been certified by the FCC authority of the United States. Via its new certification listing, a few of its key specs and schematic renderings have been revealed.

Redmi Pad 2 (WiFi-Only) – FCC Certification
As mentioned, it is the Redmi Pad 2 tablet (WiFi-only) which carries the model number – ‘25040RP0AL’ that has been certified by the FCC authority, and it has been listed as a ‘Tablet Computer’. The device is also pointed out to support WiFi with dual band support (2.4GHz & 5GHz) as well as Bluetooth connectivity. It has an integrated antenna and supports hotspot too. Speaking more, the hardware version of the tablet is mentioned as ‘135100O84’ and it will run on the Xiaomi HyperOS 2.1 as per the FCC listing.
Coming to the schematic renderings, the upcoming Redmi Pad 2 tablet is suggested to sport a pill-shaped camera module at its rear unlike its predecessor, and it will be housing a single camera sensor. There will also be a centrally-placed (when held in landscape) selfie camera too on the device, and at the left of which a card tray has been given. A 3.5 mm audio-jack and a USB connectivity port; and two speaker units along with its power button can be found on opposite sides, while the volume rockers seem to be at the top. Possibly, the device could be equipped with a quad-speaker system and the marking with it suggests that it will be Dolby Atmos supported.
The FCC certification is a strong indication that the Redmi Pad 2 tablet is nearing its launch, and the certification also confirms its launch in the US market. Previous certification listings confirmed its launch in India, Singapore, UAE, and in the European market as well.
