Samsung Galaxy A06 Spotted On Multiple Certification Websites; Launch Seems Imminent
The South Korean tech giant Samsung unveiled the Galaxy A05 smartphone last year and very soon the brand might unveil the successor of this smartphone- Galaxy A06. This is because our team at The Tech Outlook has spotted Samsung Galaxy A06 on various certification websites suggesting that the device is nearing its launch.
Samsung Galaxy A06 has been spotted on the Nemko certification website with model numbers SM-A065F/DS, SM-A065M/DS, and SM-A065M. The listing reveals that the device will be arriving with a USB Type-C charger while the “DS” in the model number indicates that two variants of the device will be arriving with dual SIM support.
Model numbers SM-A065M and SM-A065M/DS have also made their appearance on the Wi-Fi Alliance certification website which suggests that the upcoming smartphone will be arriving with support for dual-band Wi-Fi 5.
Meanwhile, model number SM-A065F was spotted on the Geekbench 4 database while model number SM-A065F/DS has been spotted on the BIS certification website.
The Geekbench listing reveals that the smartphone has received 1647 single-core score and 5338 multi-core score. It suggests that the device will be powered by MediaTek Helio G85 processor, the same chipset that powered Galaxy A05. It will run on Android 14 OS and offer 4GB RAM. While the BIS listing did not reveal the moniker of the device, recently this same model number was spotted on the IMEI database which revealed that the moniker of the device is Galaxy A06. Well, BIS listing now confirms that Galaxy A06 will soon be launching in India.
