Back in July, Samsung officially unveiled its much-awaited Galaxy Ring in global markets. This smart ring was expected to soon make its debut in India but there was no official confirmation related to the launch. Well, Galaxy Ring is now officially confirmed to launch soon in India.
The pre-reservation of this ring has already started on Samsung India’s website. Consumers can pre-reserve the ring at Rs.1999 refundable amount.
You will also get the benefit of various pre-reserve benefits like a complimentary Wireless Charger Duo worth Rs.4,999, no subscription fee, and inbox accessories (charging case and data cable). The ring will arrive in Titanium Black, Titanium Silver, and Titanium Gold color options in India.
Galaxy Ring: Features
This smart ring comes in 9 sizes with sizes ranging from 5 to 13. Users can find the right fit among the nine size options with the help of a sizing kit. It offers 8MB of memory. It offers detailed health reports with the help of Galaxy AI features like Energy score and wellness tips. The sleep AI algorithm delivers data about sleep patterns and builds better habits. It provides sleep scores, snoring analysis, and sleep metrics to the wearers.
The ring can also track menstrual cycles by monitoring skin temperature. It is equipped with a PPG sensor that detects the irregular rhythms of heartbeats, a temperature sensor, and an accelerometer. Galaxy Ring provides instant notification about heart rates through Heart Rate Alert via the Samsung Health app. Other than these health features, the ring can also be used to take photos and dismiss alarms on paired Galaxy smartphones.
It comes with a 10ATM+ IP68 rating for water and sweat resistance. It has a titanium grade 5 build. The ring supports Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity and can be paired with a Galaxy smartphone with Android 11.0 or above and a minimum of 1.5GB memory. Galaxy Ring with size 5 houses an 18mAh battery while size 13 houses a 23.5mAh battery. It comes in a specially designed charging case with LED lighting to indicate charging status. The charging case packs a 361mAh battery and is claimed to offer up to seven days of battery life on a single charge.
