Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge key details once again tipped online; Revealed to arrive with a smaller battery sparking concerns

Last month Samsung officially unveiled its latest Galaxy S25 series at Galaxy Unpacked 2025 event. At this same event, the brand has also showcased the Galaxy S25 Edge smartphone which is expected to be likely made available to customers in May 2025.
The device previously made its appearance on the 3C database and now ahead of its rumored launch, the key details of the smartphone are tipped by @heyitsyogesh on the X platform.
Galaxy S25 Edge: Key details tipped
As per the tipster the device is said to sport a 6.6-inch dAMOLED (Dynamic AMOLED) display that offers a 120Hz refresh rate. It could be powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, just like the other Galaxy S25 series devices though the tipster has not specified core information of the chipset. It could pack up a 200MP main camera and a 50MP ultrawide camera on the rear side.
It is said to arrive with an IP68 rating and run on OneUI 7. Well, the spec detail that caught the attention of users was the battery and charging support of the device. According to the tipster, the device could pack up 3,900 mAh battery and support 25W charging.
It is assumed that this small battery capacity could be due to the thin form factor of the upcoming device but various users in the comment section have voiced their concerns about the battery performance and how long will the device last with the said capacity. Also if the battery is small and faster charging support is expected but here the device is tipped to arrive with 25W charging support and the same was revealed by the 3C database, leaving the users to question the durability of the device.
Galaxy S25 Edge in terms of design resembles quite a lot with Oppo K12x Chinese variant/ OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite smartphone.
Since there is still a lot of time left for the launch of this upcoming smartphone, we may come across some more updates in the coming days.
