Samsung galaxy Z Fold 6 Special Edition gets listed on the Samsung India website, but it could be wrong
We have been hearing about Samsung launching the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Special Edition even before the Galaxy Z Fold 6 was released. While browsing, we found the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Special Edition listed on the Samsung India Business Website. Although the listing includes specifications and renders, all of these match those of the Galaxy Z Fold 6. This suggests it could be a special edition for corporate users. When attempting to click on the Contact Us button, it directs to a page for corporate user details.
Here is more to it
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 Special Edition Listed on Samsung India
The device is listed with the model number “SM-F956BZWDINS”, which is the model number for the Galaxy Z Fold 6. Earlier rumours suggested that the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Special Edition would feature a slightly different camera module. However, this listing indicates otherwise. Previous leaks hinted at a slightly larger 6.5-inch cover display and an 8-inch inner foldable panel for the Special Edition compared to the standard Galaxy Z Fold 6. Not only this, but a Galaxy Z Flip 6 Special Edition is also listed but it redirects to the Galaxy Z Flip 6 page.
Another discrepancy is that the camera specifications shown in the spec sheet correspond to the Galaxy Z Fold 6. Earlier reports suggested the Special Edition would feature a 200MP main sensor. Furthermore, according to a Korean publication, Samsung is expected to launch this smartphone only in Korea and China.
These factors suggest that this may not be the special edition we have been anticipating, and it might remain exclusive to Korea and China. Additionally, a leaked poster indicates that pre-orders will begin on 18 October and continue until 24 October, with shipments starting from 25 October.
Currently, no official information corroborates this leak. So all in all i feel this might be not the special edition which we have been waiting for.
