Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 Special Edition Smartphone Can Come With Larger Display And Reduced Thickness

Samsung can soon launch a special edition of the Galaxy Z Fold 6 smartphone. This foldable is said to be an ultra-slim variant of the Galaxy Z Fold 6 smartphone with a bigger display. Recently famous tipster Evan Blass wrote in a post that Samsung can soon launch its upcoming phone as “Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 Special Edition“. He did not mention anywhere slim in the alleged moniker of the smartphone which might be because it’s not as thin as it was previously anticipated. As per his post that he deleted later the smartphone can come with a thickness of 10.6mm when folded which is up to 1.5mm less than the standard Galaxy Z Fold 6.

It also suggested that the smartphone can come with a thickness of 4.9mm when unfolded thus making a difference of 0.7mm. Previous reports say that the company has been able to reduce the thickness by removing the digitizer a component required for the function of the S pen that it comes with.

As far as display size is concerned it can also come with a larger display than its predecessor. As per the reports, the foldable can come with an 8-inch wide internal display and a 6.5-inch wide cover screen. Now coming on to the availability of the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Special Edition, it can come in two markets: China and India. It can be launched on September 25th in South Korea.
