Samsung launched the Galaxy Wide 5 in 2021 in the South Korean market, as a rebranded version of the Galaxy F42 5G. However, for some unknown reason, Samsung hasn’t released any smartphones in the Korean market under the Wide series since then. It now appears that Samsung may introduce the Galaxy M15 5G to the South Korean market under a different name. We’ve spotted it on the Google Play Console supported devices list.

Now, if you look at the screen grab below, under the model number section, you can see “SM-M156S.” This model number shares similarities with the Galaxy M15 5G model number “SM-M156B”, which was recently released in India and globally.
However, under the marketing name, it is written as Galaxy Wide7. So, I believe that after 4 years, Samsung is going to launch a smartphone under the Wide series in the Korean market. For those who don’t know, Samsung launches some of its global models in the Korean market under a different name.
