Samsung Galaxy A36 5G – FCC Certification
The Samsung Galaxy A36 5G models bearing the model numbers of ‘SM-A366E/DS’ and ‘SM-A366E’ have appeared on the FCC database, and the two have been certified with the FCC ID of ‘A3LSMA366E’. The former will have a dual SIM card tray suggested by the ‘DS’ in the model number, whereas the latter won’t.
Speaking of the FCC-revealed key specs, the Galaxy A36 5G is going to support connectivity specs like 5G/4G/3G/2G network, WiFi 6 with 2.4GHz and 5GHz dual band support, Bluetooth 5.4 (with BLE technology – Bluetooth Low Energy, 2.4 GHz), and NFC (13.56 MHz). Furthermore, the device has also been listed with a Samsung ‘EP-TA800’ charger and Samsung ‘EP-DN980’ data cable. This suggests that just like its predecessor, the upcoming Galaxy A36 5G may also be supporting a 25W wired fast charging feature. [However, the TUV Rheinland listing mentioned a possible 45W wired charging support.] The data cable is also revealed to be one meter in length with a USB Type-C connector.
About previous updates, Samsung’s Galaxy A36 5G has also been spotted on the GCF and Geekbench databases too, and its France support page went live early last month. Its 5K render images and 360° video were also shared online, along with the rear camera and front camera details. A few of its other revealed/expected specs include Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 3/Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chip (~ 2.4 GHz primary clock speed), 6GB RAM, 50MP triple rear camera unit, and 12MP selfie camera.
The Galaxy A36 5G smartphone from Samsung is believed to debut in the mid-half of next month, in March 2025, both in India and in the global market. Apart from the Galaxy A36 5G, the Galaxy A06 5G, Galaxy A26 5G, and Galaxy A56 5G models are also soon coming under the brand’s A-series.
