Samsung’s Galaxy S25 Edge Battery Spotted on UL Demko and BIS Databases; Galaxy Z Fold/Flip 7 Batteries Also Listed on the BIS Database

The South Korean tech maker – Samsung following its Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra launch early this year, has already revealed to soon launch a slim form factor device under this flagship series, and its battery has now been spotted on the UL Demko and BIS databases. The next foldable devices of the brand are also reported to be in works, and the batteries of these smartphone models have also been spotted on the BIS database.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge Battery – Spotted on UL Demko Database

Two battery models of the Galaxy S25 Edge flagship with the model numbers of ‘EB-BS937ABY’ and ‘EB-BS937ABE’ has been listed on the UL Demko certification database, certified with certificate numbers of ‘DK-162562-UL’ and ‘DK-162516-UL’. The two are revealed to carry battery capacities of 3786 mAh (likely rated value), and earlier updates have suggested the smartphone to offer a 3900 mAh battery backup (likely typical value).

Galaxy Z Flip 7, Galaxy Z Fold 7, and Galaxy S25 Edge Batteries – Spotted on BIS Database

The battery models of the Galaxy Z Flip 7 are revealed to bear the model numbers of ‘EB-BF766ABE’, ‘EB-BF766ABY’, ‘EB-BF767ABE’, and ‘EB-BF767ABY’, whereas the Galaxy Z Fold 7 device’s battery models are pointed out to feature model numbers of ‘EB-BF966ABE’, ‘EB-BF966ABY’, ‘EB-BF967ABE’, and ‘EB-BF967ABY’.

Additionally, the UL Demko-certified ‘EB-BS937ABE’ and ‘EB-BS937ABY’ battery models of the Galaxy S25 Edge have also made it onto the BIS database of India.

Previous Updates

Speaking more, the Galaxy S25 Edge smartphone is expected to debut next month in April 2025, and both its European and US versions were spotted on the Geekbench platform. The upcoming device has also been certified by China’s 3C certification authority as well. Its expected/revealed key specs are the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor (clocked at 4.47 GHz – over-clocked version), Android 15 OS (with the One UI 7 custom skin on top), 12GB RAM option, 6.6″ Dynamic AMOLED (~ dAMOLED) 120Hz straight display screen, 200MP (main) + 50MP (ultrawide) dual rear camera unit, 3900 mAh battery backup, 25W wired charging, IP68-rated body, and 6.4 mm thickness.

The Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Galaxy Z Fold 7 foldable devices are said to break their cover this year in Q3 2025, as per recent updates. Also to add, (via Sam Mobile) the ‘EB-BF766ABY’ and ‘EB-BF767ABY’ are revealed to be 1189 mAh and 2985 mAh batteries respectively, and will be together equipped within the Galaxy Z Flip 7 to offer a rated value of 4174 mAh and typical value of 4300 mAh. In comparison to its predecessor, the upcoming Galaxy Z Flip 7 is thus expected to offer a 7.5% larger battery. Larger 6.85″ main and 4″ cover displays are also expected, however, it is believed to sport the same 50MP (main, OIS) + 12MP (ultra-wide) dual rear cameras and the same 10MP front camera.
