Samsung’s Galaxy S25 Edge Smartphone US and Indian Variants Certified by the FCC Authority, Revealing Few Key Specs

The South Korean smartphone maker – Samsung is believed to launch its new Galaxy S25 series slim form factor flagship next month and as we approach the expected launch time frame, the US and Indian variants of the device have been spotted on the FCC certification database. Via the listings, a few key specs have also been revealed.

Galaxy S25 Edge (US and Indian Variants) – FCC Certification

The Galaxy S25 Edge smartphone models with model numbers of ‘SM-S937U’ and ‘SM-S937U1’ have been certified by the FCC authority (FCC ID: ‘A3LSMS937U’), and these are revealed to be the US variants of the device. The Indian variants carrying the model numbers – ‘SM-S937B/DS’ and ‘SM-S937B’ have received the FCC certification with the FCC ID of ‘A3LSMS937B’.

A few of the FCC-revealed details include the 5G network connectivity, Bluetooth supporting Bluetooth Low Energy, WiFi a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be, NFC, WPT (Wireless Power Transfer), and UWB (ultra-wideband). A charging adapter with model number – ‘EP-T2510’ and data cable with model number – ‘EP-DN980’ (Type – C, shielded, 1.0 meter long) have also been listed on the FCC database along with the smartphone, again revealing that it will be supporting a 25W wired fast charging feature.

About previous updates, we have already spotted the device on the Geekbench (US and South Korean versions), UL Demko, BIS, and 3C certification databases. Moreover, its transparent cases were listed on the dbrand website as well. Regarding its launch, both the global and India launch are said to take place next month in April 2025.

Speaking of its expected/revealed key specs, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chip (overclocked version, clocked at 4.47 GHz), Android 15 based One UI 7, 12GB RAM option, 6″ Dynamic AMOLED display, 200MP + 50MP dual rear camera unit, 3900 mAh battery backup, 25W wired fast charging, IP68-rated body, and 6.4 mm thickness are possibly going to be featured on the device.
