Samsung’s Galaxy S25 Series Tipped to Launch With ‘One UI 7.0’ and Not ‘One UI 7.1’

The next Galaxy Unpacked event is now official and the South Korean tech maker has already begun the pre-reservation for its Galaxy S25 series devices. As we approach the launch date of the latest flagships, a tipster on the X platform has shared an important update concerning these upcoming smartphones. The Galaxy S25 series devices would possibly be featuring the ‘One UI 7.0’ custom skin at the time of launch.

Galaxy S25 Series to Launch With ‘One UI 7.0’?

As per the update shared by the tipster (@chunvn8888) on the X platform, Samsung is expected to launch its Galaxy S25 series models with the Android 15 based ‘One UI 7.0’ custom skin version and not with the ‘One UI 7.1’ version. Moreover, the tipster adds that for one or two months following the launch, the One UI 7.0 is said to run on the devices, before anything is shared publicly regarding the ‘One UI 7.1’ version.

Speaking more, Samsung has scheduled its Galaxy Unpacked event for this month itself as expected, and it will be held on the 22nd of January 2025. Also, unlike previous years, four Galaxy S25 series models are believed to break their cover at the eventGalaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, Galaxy S25 Ultra, and Galaxy S25 Slim. The official stable version of the One UI 7 custom skin is also releasing with the latest Galaxy S-series smartphones.

Apart from the Galaxy S25 series smartphones and One UI 7 official version, based on reports, the brand is also likely to unveil the Project Moohan XR headset, new smart glasses, and a teaser for the next gen Galaxy Smart Ring.
