Samsung’s Galaxy Watch 8 Models and Their Firmware Spotted; Galaxy Watch 8 LTE Version Revealed to Come with 318 mAh Rated Battery

Samsung – the South Korean consumer electronics maker is now revealed to be in the works with the next Galaxy Watch 8 series as the upcoming smartwatch models along with their test firmware have been spotted. Also to add, the battery capacity of the Galaxy Watch 8 LTE version has also been revealed via its listing on the UL Demko certification platform.

Galaxy Watch 8 Models and Their Firmware Spotted
As per the new update (received via @theonecid), the Galaxy Watch 8 Bluetooth models with model numbers – ‘L320’ and ‘L330’, and Galaxy Watch 8 LTE (US variants) with model numbers – ‘L325U’, L335U, and ‘L505U’, have been spotted. The Bluetooth versions are also pointed out to have firmware versions of ‘L320XXU0AYC4’ and ‘L320OXM0AYC4’, whereas the LTE versions (US variants) are suggested to have the firmware versions of ‘L325USQU0AYC6’, ‘L325UOYM0AYC6’, and ‘L325USQU0AYC6’.
Galaxy Watch 8 LTE Battery UL Demko Listing Confirms 318 mAh Rated Capacity
The Galaxy Watch 8 LTE battery with the model number of ‘EB-BL325ABY’ has also now received the certification from the UL Demko authority, and it has been certified with the certificate number of ‘DK-163521-UL’. It has been categorized as a ‘secondary Li-ion battery’ and is revealed to carry a rated battery capacity of 318 mAh.
A few country codes have also been listed on the certification database – ‘EU’, ‘KR’, and ‘GB’, revealing the Galaxy Watch 8 availability in Europe, South Korea, and in the United Kingdom (UK).
In related news, the ‘EB-BL330ABY’ battery was spotted on the TUV Rheinland database, while the ‘EB-BL320ABY’ battery appeared on the BIS database. These could be the batteries of the Galaxy Watch 8 Bluetooth versions (L320, L330) unlike what was said before. Also to add, the ‘EB-BL330ABY’ battery is revealed to have a typical battery capacity of 435 mAh (rated value – 426 mAh), and the BIS certification confirmed the arrival of the Galaxy Watch 8 to the Indian market as well.
