Samsung’s Next Galaxy S25 Ultra Smartphone Display Panel Still in Doubts: Tipsters Suggest M13 or M14?
Samsung, the South Korean consumer electronics maker, is nearing its flagship Galaxy S25 series launch, and multiple reports and updates concerning the upcoming devices were revealed in the past months. Even after this, the display panel that is expected to be featured on the Galaxy S25 Ultra is still unclear, with two tipsters pointing to two different display panels.
Here’s more about it.
Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra – M13 or M14 Display Panel?
Based on updates from ICE UNIVERSE and Ross Young, while the former has tipped that the Galaxy S25 Ultra would possibly be coming equipped with the M14 display panel, the latter believes the latest flagship to feature the M13 display panel. The tipster ICE UNIVERSE also notes in his X/Twitter post that the device is said to have improved brightness, viewing angle, screen color accuracy, and many other upgrades. Ross Young on the other hand appears to be adamant that it is the M13 display panel itself that will be present on the Galaxy S25 Ultra.
Speaking about two of the major Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra competitors – the Google Pixel 9 Pro and Apple iPhone 16 Pro Max, both these devices were launched with M14 display panels this year in 2024. In this case, launching a new Galaxy top model flagship in 2025 with the M13 display panel would be a really bad idea as in comparison, the M13 panel has grains, lesser brightness, and lesser power efficiency.
Probably more updates on the display panel that will be used on the Galaxy S25 Ultra may arrive in the coming days, and with the official launch in 2025, it can be confirmed leaving no room for any doubts.
About the other previous updates concerning the flagship, the US version of the Galaxy S25 Ultra was recently again spotted on the Geekbench database with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite enhanced chip onboard, and the device was also certified by China’s 3C authority two months back, revealing the 45W wired fast charge support. The live image, renders, and silicon cover of the device have also been shared online, and the device may be sporting the Galaxy Z Fold 6-like camera rings at the rear. The One UI 7 based on the Android 15 operating system is expected out of the box, and the smartphone may be offered in Black, Blue, Green, Titanium, and other exclusive online colors.
Stay tuned for more updates.
