Samsung’s Next Galaxy Z Fold 7 Spotted on Geekbench, Running on Android 16 Based One UI 8

The upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 foldable smartphone has made it to the Geekbench database. Along with its performance specs, the device is also pointed out to run on the One UI 8 custom skin based on the Android 16 operating system.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 – Geekbench Listing

The Galaxy Z Fold 7 smartphone with the model number – ‘SM-F966U’ has appeared on the Geekbench database, and it has achieved an OpenCL score of 18143 points. As per its Geekbench listing, it will use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor for Galaxy (over-clocked version) with a two primary cores clocked at 4.47 GHz and six performance cores clocked at 3.53 GHz. The Adreno 830 GPU will also be integrated onto it, and the Geekbench-listed device is its 12GB RAM variant. Also to note, this upcoming Samsung foldable is revealed to have the Android 16 based One UI 8 custom skin out of the box too.

About other previous reports, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 foldable devices were both spotted earlier on the 3C certification database of China, while their batteries received India’s BIS certification. The two are pointed out to support 25W wired fast charging feature, whereas the Galaxy Z Flip 7 is suggested to pack a 4300 mAh battery backup, as per these previous listings. A 6.85″ inner display, 4″ cover display, 50MP (OIS) + 12MP (ultrawide) dual rear cameras, and 10MP selfie camera are the other expected specs of the Galaxy Z Flip 7.

Regarding the launch, both the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 are believed to debut in the third quarter of this year (in Q3 2025). Stay tuned for more updates.
