Samsung’s Upcoming Galaxy A56 5G Smartphone Spotted on China’s MIIT and TENAA Databases; Render Images Revealed

We have already in the recent past came across a lot of updates concerning the upcoming Galaxy A56 5G device from Samsung and now, it has also been certified by the MIIT and TENAA authorities of China. Along with this, the render images of the smartphone have also been revealed.

Samsung Galaxy A56 5G – MIIT and TENAA Certifications

The Samsung Galaxy A56 5G device carries the model number of ‘SM-A5660’ and has been listed as a ‘5G Digital Mobile Phone’ on both the mentioned certification platforms. It has received the MIIT certification with license number – ’02-D726-250066′, and its certification validity is till the 3rd of January 2028. The listing also points it to support 2G/3G/4G/5G network connectivity, 5G cross network roaming, eMMB (Enhanced Mobile Broadband) technology, dual SIM with dual standby, and run on the Android operating system.

About its TENAA certification, it has been certified with the certificate number – ’02-D726-250066′ and has been revealed to feature key specs such as a 4905 mAh rated battery, four camera sensors (triple rear camera unit + single front-facing camera), and Bluetooth & USB connectivity. Moreover, 2G/3G/4G/5G network connectivity support as well as the Android operating system have also been mentioned on the TENAA certification database too.

Now regarding the revealed render images, it aligns with the previously shared CAD-based renders, again pointing to the projected pill-shaped vertically-placed rear camera module housing three internal circular units consisting of camera sensors. The camera module interior is Black, and the LED flashlight has been placed outside at the right side of it. The rear panel is also flat, with ‘Samsung’ branding marked at the bottom portion.

Coming to the front display, again it is flat and the centrally-aligned punch-hole selfie camera can be spotted at the top of the display. The side panels are also flat, with round corners and antenna lines. At the right side panel, we are also able to find the Key Island featuring the volume rocker and power button, while the left side panel does not have any openings or buttons. Also, the device featured in the render images has a Black or Dark Blue color shade.

Speaking of previous updates, earlier Samsung’s Galaxy A56 5G was certified by the 3C and EMVCo authorities, and it was also listed on the Geekbench database. A few days back, its support page also went live on the brand’s official website for France. Few of its other revealed specs include Exynos 1580 processor (with 2.91 GHz primary clock speed), Xclipse 540 GPU, 8GB RAM option, Android 15 operating system (obviously with One UI 7 on top), NFC connectivity, and 45W wired fast charging.

Considering that the Galaxy A55 5G model was unveiled in March 2024, and with all these listings, Samsung’s next Galaxy A56 5G is said to be quite near its launch. More updates can thus be expected in the coming days, so stay tuned and don’t miss out on these.
