Samsung’s Upcoming Galaxy M16 5G and Galaxy F16 5G Smartphones Spotted on the Wi-Fi Alliance Database
Samsung’s next Galaxy M16 5G and Galaxy F16 5G smartphone models have now been spotted on the Wi-Fi Alliance certification platform of the USA. The listings also suggest that the two smartphones may be launched soon.

Galaxy M16 5G and Galaxy F16 5G – Wi-Fi Alliance Listings
The Galaxy M16 5G and Galaxy F16 5G smartphones bearing the model numbers of ‘SM-M166P/DS’ and ‘SM-E166P/DS’ have been certified by the Wi-Fi Alliance authority with certificate IDs – ‘WFA133511’ and ‘WFA133512’, respectively. Certain key specs such as Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac connectivity, 2.4GHz & 5GHz dual band support, WPA2 – Enterprise/Personal & WPA3 – Enterprise/Personal protection, Wi-Fi Direct, dual SIM support, and Android 14 operating system have also been revealed via the Galaxy M16 5G and Galaxy F16 5G Wi-Fi Alliance listings.
Early last month in October 2024, the brand unveiled its Galaxy A16 5G device and very recently, it made its official debut in the Indian market too. Looking at the previous Galaxy A15 5G and Galaxy A14 5G smartphones, they were launched in December 2023 and January 2023 respectively. Three or two months later, in March 2024 and March 2023, the Galaxy M15 5G & Galaxy F15 5G and Galaxy M14 5G & Galaxy F14 5G were respectively unveiled. Considering this, it is possible that the next Galaxy M16 5G and Galaxy F16 5G devices may be launched late this year in 2024 or early next year in 2025.
