Snapdragon 7 Gen 3, Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 specifications (rumoured)
According to the tipster, the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3, with the code name SM7550, is reported to have a CPU configuration consisting of one high-performance core clocked at 2.63GHz, along with three cores running at 2.4GHz, and four efficiency cores operating at 1.8GHz. It will be paired with the Adreno 720 GPU and is noteworthy for featuring ARM’s A715 as the primary large core, all fabricated on TSMC’s cutting-edge 4nm process.
The Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 will have a slightly different CPU setup featuring one high-performance core running at 2.92GHz, two cores clocked at 2.5GHz, and four energy-efficient cores at 1.8GHz. This chipset will be paired with the Adreno 725 GPU, also manufactured on TSMC’s 4nm process.
The leaker added that the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 and 7+ Gen 3 are expected to find their way into upcoming devices from prominent smartphone manufacturers like Honor, Vivo, Xiaomi, and Oga group (Oppo, OnePlus, Realme), offering improved performance and efficiency for future mobile devices. Some of the rumoured phones that are expected to feature the SD7G3 chip include the Honor 100, Vivo S18, Vivo V30, OnePlus Ace 3V, and Nord 4.
