Upcoming Mid-Range Phones Specifications Suggested by Chinese Tipster: Flagship-Like Features

We have already witnessed the launch of several flagships, and are also going to witness the launch of several sub-flagships too. The tipster Digital Chat Station via a new Weibo post has now pointed to the new wave of mid-range devices that will also be unveiling later, suggesting that they may feature certain flagship-like specs.

Upcoming Mid-Range Phones – Revealed to Offer Flagship-Like Specs

The tipster Digital Chat Station doesn’t speak about any particular brands or devices, but has just mentioned that the next wave of mid-range phones will be having certain flagship-like specs such as 1.5K resolution new substrate ultra-narrow display screens, metal middle frames, periscope telephoto camera lenses, wireless charging features, IP68/69 rated bodies, and self-developed small chips. From what it seems, the upcoming devices that are expected to feature such specs would probably fall into the upper-mid-range category.

To add, the tipster has also noted that there are already many sub-flagships with all the above mentioned specs, and as per previous reports, we are sure to see them make their debut through the months of November and December of 2024.

Speaking of the upcoming sub-flagships, the OPPO Reno 13 series, Redmi K80 series, OnePlus Ace 5 series, Vivo S20 series, iQOO Neo 10 series, and Honor 300 series are all expected to break their covers before the end of this month. A lot about these devices have also been revealed in the past few days.

OPPO’s Reno 13 series is said to include the Dimensity 8350-powered Reno 13 and Reno 13 Pro devices that are tentatively scheduled to launch on the 25th of November, 2024. The Redmi K80 series is going to bring out the Redmi K80 and Redmi K80 Pro models that are expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and Snapdragon 8 Elite processors. The OnePlus Ace 5 series, as always, may include the Ace 5, Ace 5 Pro, and Ace 5V models, of which only the Ace 5 smartphone is possibly going to be released this year, in 2024.

Coming to the Vivo S20 series, again two models are expected – Vivo S20 and Vivo S20 Pro, and are expected to be unveiled on 28th November 2024. The iQOO Neo 10 series may also arrive by late November 2024, with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3-powered Neo 10 and Dimensity 9400-powered Neo 10 Pro devices. Finally, the Honor 300 series is reported to launch four new smartphone models.
