Upcoming OPPO Reno 13 Series Features Seemingly Tipped as Expected Launch Date Approaches
Just like many Chinese smartphone makers, OPPO too after its flagship Find X8 series launch, has turned its attention towards the next Reno 13 series sub-flagship debut, amidst the Find X8 series global release that is also said to take place soon. More Reno 13 series features have now been shared online by a Chinese tipster on Weibo, revealing that this time’s Reno 13 series devices will have a lot of standard specs.

OPPO Reno 13 Series – Tipped Features
The upcoming Reno 13 series of OPPO is expected to debut with at least two models – Reno 13 and Reno 13 Pro, and so far recent reports have been speaking more about the Pro model. In the new Weibo update, the tipster notes that the series will feature 1.5K display, metal middle frame, periscope telephoto lens, and the same Dimensity high performance flagship chip (MediaTek Dimensity 8350) for the two. He also adds that the standard Reno 13 would possibly be featuring a 6.59″ display, whereas the Reno 13 Pro would have a larger 6.83″ screen as per other reports.
Furthermore in the comments section, the tipster again reiterates that the two models will possibly have metal middle frame, high-standard dust and water resistance (IP68/IP69), large silicon battery (Reno 13: 5600 mAh; Reno 13 Pro 5900 mAh), light and thin form factor design, X-axis motor, and stereo dual speakers.
About the previous Reno 13 Pro device updates, apart from the above specs, quad-micro-curved straight display, 50MP(main) + 8MP(ultrawide) + 50MP(periscope telephoto) triple camera unit, 50MP selfie camera, magnetic wireless charging, and 16GB/1TB top storage configuration are expected. Just to add, even if tipster Digital Chat Station’s last Reno 13 Pro update deviated from older updates by stating a telephoto camera lens, in this new update, he suggests that it is periscope telephoto lens itself.
Regarding the Reno 13 series release, according to the revealed tentative launch date, we may see OPPO’s Reno 13 series debut in the brand’s home market in China on the 25th of November 2024, this month. However, an official confirmation is still pending.
