Upcoming OPPO Watch X2 More Details Shared Online Via Chinese Tipster; Launch Could be Nearing
As per reports, OPPO’s Watch X2 series is reportedly said to introduce three smartwatch models (Watch X2, Watch X2 (46mm), & Watch X2 Pro) this year, and likely these are also believed to arrive as re-branded versions of the OnePlus Watch 3 series models. Moreover, we have already spotted few of the OPPO Watch X2 series models on the TUV Rheinland, SIRIM, 3C, TENAA, and MIIT certification platforms, and the possible launch is expected in Q1 2025, early this year.
Now, via a new update from tipster Digital Chat Station, more details of the upcoming OPPO Watch X2 (models) have been revealed, also suggesting that the launch is quite near. Read more about the latest update below.
OPPO Watch X2 – More Tipped Details
According to tipster Digital Chat Station’s Weibo post, he has revealed that the upcoming OPPO Watch X2 (series) is likely going to support a blood pressure monitoring feature that is now revealed to be a blood pressure warning function, similar to the hypertension monitoring function that Apple is currently working on and which it plans to introduce in Series 11 and Ultra 3 models.
Speaking more, with this function, users won’t be provided with specific diastolic or systolic blood pressure values, but it will inform and warn users if there is a risk of hypertension or if any abnormalities in their blood pressure is found out. Based on what is known, it is said to be released next month in February 2025, further revealing that OPPO will bring out the feature for users before Apple does so.
Additionally, it seems that the tipster has also pointed out a color choice and the materials used – ‘Qianfan Blue’ and made with titanium and sapphire. It has also been added by the tipster that this watch could be positioned as the ‘king of high-value Android watches’. Also, he notes that he has gotten his hands on the new product, suggesting that the final product may be ready.
Previous updates have also revealed few other key specs such as the OLED round display, ColorOS full intelligent system, ECG electrocardiogram, 60-seconds health check, wrist temperature measurement, exercise monitoring, GPS, 4G (eSIM), Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, NFC, great waterproof capabilities, 631 mAh/648 mAh battery backup, and the 10W fast charge support.
