Upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite Sub-Flagship Smartphones with Improved Battery Backups Tipped
The tech world following the launch of many flagship devices this month, will soon be witnessing the debut of many Snapdragon 8 Elite-powered sub-flagship smartphones starting from next month. The Chinese tipster on the Weibo platform, Digital Chat Station, has now tipped the battery capacities of some of the upcoming devices.

Realme GT 7 Pro, OnePlus Ace 5 Pro, Red Magic 10 Pro Ultra – Battery Capacities Tipped
While Digital Chat Station’s Weibo post doesn’t mention the monikers of the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite sub-flagships, he notes that there are two smartphones packed with 6500± mAh batteries, whereas one is pointed out to have a 7000± mAh battery backup. Based on reports, the former two are revealed to be the Realme GT 7 Pro and OnePlus Ace 5 Pro, and the latter is likely to be the rumored Red Magic 10 Pro Ultra.
Speaking more, the Realme GT 7 Pro is going to debut in the Chinese market next month on the 4th of November 2024 and just recently, the real life image of the smartphone was shared online. The device is officially teased with Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, and is expected to have the Realme UI 6.0 custom skin out of the box. Samsung’s latest Eco² four-side micro-curved display with 1.5K resolution and 2000 nits brightness, 50MP IMX906 (main camera) + 8MP (ultrawide camera) + 50MP (IMX882 periscope telephoto 3x zoom camera) triple camera unit, 32MP selfie camera, 6500 mAh battery, 120W wired fast charging features, ultrasonic in-display fingerprint reader, and IP68/69-rated dust and water resistant body are some of its other expected/revealed specs.
The OnePlus Ace 5 series consists of two smartphone models – OnePlus Ace 5 and OnePlus Ace 5 Pro, expected to feature Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and Snapdragon 8 Elite chipsets respectively. The OnePlus Ace 5 Pro is said to launch in the mid-half of next year, following the China release of OnePlus Ace 5 later this year, and is tipped with other specs like BOE X2 flat 1.5K display, 50MP IMX906 primary camera, 50MP ISOCELL JN1 telephoto camera, 6500 mAh battery, and 100W wired fast charge support.
The Red Magic 10 Pro has already been teased globally, and is confirmed to use the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. We have also spotted it on the Wi-Fi Alliance and MIIT certification platforms too. It is only recently that an Ultra model of the series started to get rumored, with 7+ inch display and nearly 7000 mAh battery as per reports, while the Red Magic 10 Pro is also said to use nearly a 7″ display and 6500+ mAh battery. Also, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite higher frequency version that was talked about by tipster DCS may be featured in the Red Magic 10 Pro series.
