Upcoming Vivo S20 Series Smartphones Key Specifications Tipped Ahead of Expected Launch Date
The leading Chinese smartphone maker, Vivo, is expected to soon unveil its sub-flagship S20 series devices this month, and following the TENAA and 3C listings of the vanilla model, the key specifications of the two upcoming smartphones have been tipped by a tipster on the Weibo platform.

Vivo S20 Series – Tipped Key Specs
This update comes from the tipster Smart Pikachu, and in his Weibo post, he points out that the vanilla S20 device is expected to feature an ultra-thin form factor design and would be packing a 6500 mAh battery backup [with 90W wired fast charge support]. The device is also said to have an OLED straight and slightly curved display with a 1.5K screen resolution [6.67″ AMOLED 2800 x 1260 pixels display].
The tipster further adds that the standard S20 smartphone, just like its predecessor, would be sporting a dual camera unit [50MP + 8MP, along with a 50MP selfie camera], whereas the S20 Pro model is suggested to come with a large telephoto portrait lens. Just to add, the previous S19 Pro offered a 50MP(wide) + 50MP(telephoto) + 8MP(ultrawide) triple camera unit.
In terms of the processor, the tipster notes that the vanilla S20 may be equipped with a Snapdragon 7 series chip (Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 as per other updates), whereas the S20 Pro device is likely to be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9300 processor.
The Vivo S20 series launch is tentatively scheduled to take place this month on the 28th of November 2024, however, an official confirmation regarding this is yet to arrive. As the expected launch date is quite near, more updates are sure to arrive in the coming few days, which will reveal more about the upcoming smartphones. Stay tuned until then.
