Upcoming Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 Smartphone Expected Launch Time Frame and Processor Tipped

Xiaomi, one among the leading smartphone makers in China, is reportedly in the works with its next Mix Flip 2 smartphone and very recently we had spotted the upcoming device on a global certification database. Following this, a Chinese tipster on the Weibo platform has revealed that the iterative model is coming soon, pointing to its expected launch time frame, as well as the processor.

This update comes from the reliable tipster – Digital Chat Station, who in his Weibo post notes that the next Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 device, which is possibly going to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, would likely be launched in the first half of next year in 2025.

The tipster further adds that its predecessor sold very well and considering this, a major iteration is in plans with a release soon, again suggesting that more good spec-upgrades can be expected on the upcoming device over the previous Snapdragon 8 Gen 3-powered Xiaomi Mix Flip.

Speaking more, the Chinese and global models of the Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 carry respective model numbers of ‘2505APX7BC’ and ‘2505APX7BG’. Both the Chinese and global models have been listed on the GSMA IMEI database. Additionally, the global model was certified by the EEC certification authority recently, confirming its launch in the European market. Moreover, the model numbers(‘2505’) reveal a launch probably in the month of May 2025.
