Vivo expected to launch new “X” series smartphone in India in April 2025
Vivo launched the X200 series in the Indian market last December. The series included the X200 and X200 Pro models, while the X200 Pro Mini, which was launched in China, did not make it to the global or Indian markets. Just a few hours ago, a known tipster, Abhishek Yadav, posted on his X account that “Vivo will launch one more X series smartphone in April 2025 in the Indian market.”
Although he didn’t specify the exact model, the least we can expect is the X200 Pro Mini, which was originally launched alongside the vanilla and Pro variants in the Chinese market. Additionally, Vivo is rumored to launch the X200 Ultra soon in the Chinese market. However, the chances of it reaching global or Indian markets are slim, as the Ultra variant of the X series has always been exclusive to the Chinese market.
Most probably, Vivo may introduce the Mini variant from the X200 series to the Indian market. It’s worth noting that the device hasn’t been reported on the BIS certification yet. However, since the tipster reported its potential launch in April this year, we may see it appear on certification platforms soon.
While the specific model remains unconfirmed, all indications point towards the X200 Pro Mini. In the coming days, we will likely learn more about this upcoming smartphone.
