Vivo V40e Appears on Geekbench with Dimensity 7300 SoC; Vivo Y200 Plus Spotted on BIS Alongside V40e

The Vivo V40 series was recently revealed in the Indian market, featuring both a vanilla and a Pro variant. So far, the Vivo V40 SE 4G / 5G and Vivo V40 Lite have been launched in their respective markets, bringing the total number of smartphones in this series to four. However, we recently discovered the Vivo V40e on the Bluetooth SIG certification with the model number ‘V2403,’ which could be the fifth addition to this series and the successor to the Vivo V30e. The same model number has also appeared in the Geekbench database and has cleared the Indian BIS certification. Additionally, another Y series smartphone was spotted on the BIS, which I will discuss later in this article.

Vivo V40e Geekbench and BIS

The model number V2403 has now been spotted on the Geekbench database. While the moniker isn’t listed there, the Bluetooth SIG has confirmed it to be the Vivo V40e. In terms of performance, it achieved a single-core score of 1041 and a multi-core score of 3017.

The CPU is configured with two clusters: four cores running at 2 GHz and another four cores at 2.5 GHz. Additionally, I identified the GPU as the Mali-G615 MC2. After analysing all the details, the chipset corresponds to the MediaTek Dimensity 7300. The prototype spotted on Geekbench has 7.31 GB of RAM (marketed as 8GB RAM) and runs on Android 14 OS.

Interestingly, Vivo seems to have prioritised MediaTek over the Snapdragon chipset used in its predecessor, the V30e. Based on Geekbench records, the Vivo V40e is expected to have an edge over its predecessor, which was equipped with the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC.

Additionally, this same model number, ‘V2403’, has appeared on the BIS certification alongside another model number, ‘V2422’. The latter was previously spotted in the IMEI database, where it was identified as the Y200 Plus. Although there is currently no further information regarding the Y200 Plus, I am hopeful that more details about this smartphone will emerge soon.
