Vivo can soon launch the Vivo Watch 3 smartwatch outside China evident from its listing on the certification websites. Recently we spotted this smartwatch on the SDPPI certification website with the model number “V2405” and now we have spotted this model number on the IMDA certification website. Similar to the earlier listing no detail of the smartwatch has come out though now we can say that the launch is confirmed for Singapore.
This Vivo Watch 3 has already been launched in China last year. This smartwatch came with a 1.43-inch wide OLED display that sports a 466×466 pixels resolution. In the health suite, it gets heart rate monitoring, continuous blood oxygen saturation detection, sleep monitoring, stress monitoring, breathing training, menstrual cycle recording, noise detection, etc. Sports modes include outdoor running, indoor running, outdoor walking, pool swimming, outdoor cycling, and 108 types of sports such as indoor cycling, skipping, etc. Sensors include optical heart rate and blood oxygen sensors, acceleration sensors, gyroscopes, air pressure altitude sensors, geomagnetic sensors, ambient light sensors, and Hall sensors.
When the company launched the Vivo X100 Ultra, X100s, and X100 Pro smartphone in China, it also launched the ECG version of the Vivo Watch 3. It came with the capability to detect heart rhythm disorders such as atrial fibrillation. Other features remained the same about it. It’s hard to tell now whether the company will launch both variants or just one in the global market.
