Vivo Y300i (V2444A) with 6500mAh battery and Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 spotted on China Telecom website
Details of Vivo’s upcoming smartphone, the Vivo Y300i (model number V2444A), have appeared on the China Telecom website ahead of its official launch. According to the listing, the device will release in China on March 14.
Interestingly, this same model number (V2444A) was previously rumored to be associated with a device called the Jovi Y39 5G. However, the China Telecom listing has now clarified this information, revealing that the device is indeed the Vivo Y300i, putting those earlier rumors to rest.
The Vivo Y300i comes equipped with a 6500mAh battery and supports 44W fast charging, as confirmed by previous 3C certification. The device features a 6.68-inch LCD panel with HD+ resolution (1608 x 720 pixels).
Under the hood, the phone packs Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset paired with Android 15 out of the box. However, the specific version of OriginOS 5 it will ship with isn’t mentioned in the listing.
For photography, the Y300i features a 50MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing camera. Security is handled by a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
Images from the listing show the Vivo Y300i with a distinctive circular camera module on the rear panel. This module houses what appears to be dual camera sensors with an LED flash, surrounded by a reflective ring around its raised circular design.
