A new smartphone from the Chinese smartphone maker – Vivo has made it to the Geekbench database, revealing its performance scores and specs. Also, a reliable tipster on the Weibo platform has tipped that this device may use Qualcomm’s next Snapdragon 8s Elite chip itself based on the chip details.

Here’s more about the update.

Vivo ‘V2453A’ – Geekbench Listing

This Vivo smartphone that has appeared on the Geekbench database has scored single-core and multi-core test performance scores of 1960 points and 5764 points respectively. It is revealed to be the 12GB RAM variant of the device, and it has the Android 15 operating system pre-installed in it, as per the listing.

Speaking more, it is also pointed out to equip itself with a motherboard having codename – ‘sun’ and be powered by an octa-core processor with a core configuration of 1 + 3 + 2+ 2 cores. The primary core is revealed to be clocked at 3.21 GHz, while the base core is clocked at 2.02 GHz. The mid cores are respectively clocked at 3.01 GHz and 2.80 GHz. Additionally, we are also able to understand that a new Adreno 825 GPU is also integrated. Maybe, this device could have Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Elite chip onboard.

Also to add, the moniker of this upcoming Vivo smartphone is also not known yet, and we will have to wait for more updates. However, it can be assumed to either be a Vivo or iQOO branded smartphone, possibly the iQOO Z10 Turbo device according to what has been reported.

Vivo V2453A spotted on Geekbench with the upcoming Snapdraon 8s Elite

While the Geekbench listing doesn’t confirm the moniker of the chipset used, based on the core configuration, clock speeds, and the new GPU, it has been re-emphasized even by tipster Digital Chat Station that this Geekbench-listed Vivo smartphone could be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Elite chip itself.

In his Weibo post, he again adds that a big core architecture with X4 + A720 cores is expected to be present, whereas the 1+3+2+2 core structure is similar to that of the previous Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip’s core configuration. Moreover, he also notes that the current Geekbench 6 score of the Snapdragon 8s Elite is 1967 points (single-core test) and 5827 points (multi-core test). On the other hand, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 has already scored 2200 points (single-core test) and 7000 points (multi-core test). This means that the next Snapdragon 8s Elite chip is not running at its fullest power, and the actual performance scores of the upcoming iQOO (Z10 Turbo) and Redmi (Turbo 4 Pro) phones that are said to use this chipset have to be revealed.
