Vivo’s Y29 4G, V50, and V50e Models Spotted on the European EEC Certification Platform

Following their appearance on the IMEI database, the Y29 4G, V50, and V50e smartphone models from Vivo have made it to the EEC certification platform of Europe. The listing confirms their possible nearing launch.

Vivo Y29 4G, V50, and V50e Smartphones – EEC Certification

The Vivo Y29 4G, V50, and V50e devices carrying model numbers – ‘V2434’, ‘V2427’, and ‘V2428’ have been certified by the EEC authority with notification numbers – ‘RU0000060640’, ‘RU0000060639’, and ‘RU0000060638’, respectively. The certification validity will be till the 10th of January 2033.

As mentioned above, the three devices with the same model number was also listed previously on the IMEI database as well.

So far, nothing much about the specifications of these upcoming devices are known. Considering their predecessors, likely the Y29 4G and V50 smartphones may show some similarities with the Y28 4G and V40 models, whereas certain upgrades could be brought to the V50e when compared with the V40e smartphone. Moreover, the V50 and V50e smartphones are expected to launch early next year in January and February 2025 respectively, while the Y29 5G is probably only going to break its cover in the mid-half of 2025, in the month of June or July, based on the previous launch time frames.
