WhatsApp Is Testing Community Group Chat Event Duration Feature

WhatsApp is always testing one or another feature for the platform. Recently most of the users saw the biggest change and that was the integration of Meta AI in WhatsApp. This has undoubtedly changed the complete experience of using WhatsApp. Currently, WhatsApp is testing a new feature which is the Community group chat event duration feature. This update comes from the WABetaInfo who wrote that WhatsApp has begun testing the Community group chat event duration feature on WhatsApp for beta version 2.24.17.11.

With this new feature, the community group members will not only be able to create events with start and end times but also be able to add the location and a WhatsApp call link to it. This will help users in a community where multiple events can be lined up or happening simultaneously. We saw WhatsApp introducing the Events feature for the communities in May that came to the beta users in June. We might have to wait a while for the recently rolled-out new feature to reach all the users though it won’t be wrong to say that it will help users a lot.
