Xiaomi 15, POCO, And Two Redmi Devices Cleared EEC Certification
It hasn’t been long since Xiaomi launched the Xiaomi 14 series in India and received an overwhelming response from users. The company’s next flagship series Xiaomi 15 has already begun appearing on certification websites and just a few days ago Xiaomi 15 devices appeared on the IMEI database. Now one of the Xiaomi 15 devices has been found listed on the EEC certification website along with POCO, and Redmi devices. Let’s get to know about them in detail.
EEC certification of devices
Recently four devices have passed the EEC certification thus hinting towards their near launch. The Xiaomi smartphone has appeared with the model number 24129PN74G on the EEC certification website and from its IMEI database appearance we know that it is the Xiaomi 15 smartphone’s global variant. Redmi devices have been found listed on the EEC certification website with model numbers 2409BRN2CY and 2409BRN2CA. The POCO device has appeared with the model number 2410FPCC5G. The listing does not confirm the moniker of the smartphones though expecting new devices from POCO and Redmi by September and October month of this year should not be a wrong guess by its model number.
The Xiaomi 15 series phones have just begun appearing on the certification website but reports around them are surfacing since last year. This series was earlier expected to launch in October with Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 though when it appeared on the IMEI database its model number revealed that the Xiaomi 15 Pro can debut in October while the standard one can in December. This is an unusual thing but this is what model number has to say at least for now. One more thing that becomes important to mention here is that Xiaomi 15 Pro can remain exclusive to the home market. Undoubtedly still a lot is to come and we will keep you updated about that.
