Xiaomi Mi Band 9/9 NFC passed radio certification; launch seems imminent

The Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi unveiled its Mi Band 8/8 NFC last year in the month of April. This wearable arrived with various sports modes, health monitoring features, and much more. Well, it appears that very soon the company will be launching the successor of this fitness band.

This is because two models “M2345B1” and “M2346B1” have passed radio certification and it is said that these are the Mi Band 9/9 NFC.

It is said that the quality of these fitness bands will be even better. The listing of the devices hints towards their imminent launch. No major information regarding Mi Band 9/9 NFC has been revealed online but in the coming days, we may come across some more details regarding this upcoming wearable device. It is expected that they might arrive with some improvements and upgrades over its predecessor.

The Mi Band comes with a 1.62-inch AMOLED touchscreen with a 60 Hz refresh rate of 600 nits of peak brightness and a pixel density of 326 ppi. With up to 200 watch faces on the fitness band, you can change them via Xiaomi Health App. Some of the special watch faces even let users play games like ping pong, shooter, trivia, and more.

Mi Band 8 supports more than 150 sports modes including walking, running, cycling, weightlifting, swimming, and more. Other than these features you can also keep track of professional data such as stride frequency, stride length, ground contact vacancy ratio, ground impact force, and more. It supports heart rate, sleep tracking, blood oxygen monitoring, and menstrual tracking for females.

As far as its battery life is concerned Mi Band 8 battery will last 16 days on a single charge in standard mode. If you use it while enabling AOD the battery life lasts for 10 days. With its magnetic charger users can charge its 190mAh battery in just 1 hour.
