Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 Smartphone Appears on China’s 3C Certification Database: Wired Charging Spec Revealed

Xiaomi’s next vertically-folding or clamshell-like smartphone device – the Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 has already been a part of multiple reports in the past and when compared to its July 2024-released predecessor, the upcoming device is said to bring many feature and design upgrades. Now, the Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 has received the 3C certification from China, revealing its wired charging spec.

Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 – 3C Certification
The Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 smartphone (Chinese variant) which bears the model number – ‘2505APX7BC’ has been certified by the 3C authority of China with the certificate number – ‘2025011606767993’, and it has been categorized on the certification database as a ‘5G digital mobile phone’. Furthermore, a charging adapter with the model number – ‘MDY-15-EQ’ has also been listed on the 3C database, and the upcoming device will support 67W wired fast charging feature just like the previous Xiaomi Mix Flip.
To add, the global variant of the Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 has also been spotted when it made its appearance on the European EEC certification database late last year in 2024.
Speaking more, an earlier update pointed out that unlike its predecessor, Xiaomi’s Mix Flip 2 is likely going to feature a larger battery backup of between 5600 – 5700 mAh. Also, design-wise, it will possibly be even thinner and lighter than the first generation Mix Flip. In terms of performance, Qualcomm’s latest flagship chip – the Snapdragon 8 Elite could also be powering the device as well. Apart from these, other major upgrades are also to be found on the upcoming Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 as per reports.
Regarding its expected launch time frame, it is tipped to launch in the first half of this year in 2025. Moreover, looking at the model number (2505…), the launch time frame is hinted to be in May 2025, next month. Since we are very near its expected launch time frame, more updates concerning the device are obviously coming out soon.
