Xiaomi Mix Flip Secures Thailand’s NBTC Certification, Confirming Global Launch
Xiaomi’s upcoming flip phone, the Mix Flip, is expected to debut in China next month. This time, Xiaomi plans to bring this smartphone to a global audience as well. Evidence for this comes from its previous listing on the Singapore IMDA certification and its recent spotting on Thailand’s regulatory authority, NBTC.

This upcoming flip phone from Xiaomi is listed with the certificate number “B38400-24” and model number “2405CPX3DG”. Unlike the IMDA listing, the moniker “Xiaomi Mix Flip” appears on this certification. The letter “G” at the end signifies the global audience. This is probably an early listing, as there are numerous spelling errors, and the date of approval isn’t listed yet. However, it does hint at Xiaomi’s plan to launch this flip phone in the global market as well.
It was recently spotted with Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun, who shared a glimpse of what it may look like. A close look at the image reveals curved edges on all four sides.
As is tradition, it is expected to launch first in the Chinese market with the model number “2405CPX3DC” and then globally. Regarding its expected specifications, the Mix Flip is likely to feature a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC with a 1.5K resolution display, a 32MP OV328 selfie camera, a 50MP OV50E 1/1.55” main camera, and an OV60A 2x telephoto camera for the Chinese variant. The 3C certification revealed a 67W fast charging option, and it is expected to pack a 4800/4900 mAh battery.
It is still unclear whether Xiaomi will launch it with the same specs in the global market. However, we will get a clearer picture once it is launched in the Chinese market first, which is expected to happen next month in July.
