Xiaomi tipped to launch a Ultra Slim power bank with 5,000 mAh capacity soon in India
Xiaomi is preparing to expand its product lineup in India. On December 9th, the company’s sub-brand Redmi will launch the Redmi Note 14 Series, a Xiaomi Outdoor Bluetooth speaker, and Redmi Buds 6. According to tipster Ishan Agarwal on X, Xiaomi also plans to launch its ultra-slim power bank in the Indian market.
According to the leak, the power bank measures 10mm in thinness and weighs 93 grams. The tipster reveals it features a 5,000 mAh capacity and supports 20W fast charging. However, the leak doesn’t include the launch date or expected price information.

The power bank tipster refers to is already available in global markets. According to Xiaomi’s official global website, it uses NCVM (Non-conductive vacuum metallization) surface treatment for its exterior. The company states it can charge the Xiaomi 14 to 39% and Xiaomi 14 Ultra to 37% in 30 minutes. The device includes two-way USB Type-C charging and can fully charge devices in 1.75 hours.
As per official specifications, the power bank works with phones, tablets, wireless earphones, and other low-current devices. It includes a chip that adjusts output based on device requirements. For safety, it features multiple protection systems including temperature, short-circuit, reset, input and output overvoltage, overcurrent, overcharge, and over-discharge protection.
The device meets international aviation standards for air travel.
Based on the leaked information, this appears to be the same model currently sold in other markets, though Indian pricing and availability details have not yet been revealed.
