Xiaomi is all set to unveil its all-new smartphone series- Xiaomi 15 series in its home country China on 23rd October. Reportedly Xiaomi may also introduce its latest Xiaomi Watch S4 series alongside this upcoming smartphone series. Last year the company officially unveiled the Xiaomi Watch S3 series in October 2023, hence the same launch timeline is expected for its successor.
Back in June, the Xiaomi Watch S4 was spotted on the IMEI database with model number M2424W1. This same model number was also spotted on the Radio Approval certification website. Today this same model number has been spotted on MIIT certification by tipster Digital Chat Station.
The database reveals that the smartwatch will support TD-LTE/LTE FDD/WCDMA standards. Although, the listing shows Xiaomi HyperOS, which version it is going to come with is not there. But rumours suggest, it is likely to come equipped with HyperOS 2.0 It will support eSIM technology with an independent eUICC chip and is an LTE single antenna terminal device. It will also support voice function. Further in the comment section the tipster has revealed that the smartwatch will arrive with long battery life.
Previously, the Radio Approval certification revealed that the smartwatch will arrive with Bluetooth support as well which means that just like the Watch S3, we may see two versions of the Watch S4 as well- Bluetooth version and eSIM version.
If the expected launch timeline of the Xiaomi Watch S4 series is true, then the brand may soon officially announce the launch of this highly anticipated smartwatch series.
