Xiaomi’s Redmi K80 and Redmi Turbo 4 Smartphones Launch Time Frames and Pricing Tipped by Chinese Tipster

Xiaomi, the Chinese consumer electronics maker, is said to unveil many of its new Redmi-branded smartphones soon and it seems that the launch time frames and price points of two of the upcoming Redmi devices have been tipped online.

Redmi K80 and Redmi Turbo 4 – Launch Time Frames and Pricing

This update comes from the Chinese tipster Smart Pikachu and via his Weibo post, he has pointed out that the Redmi K80 smartphone is expected to debut this month in November 2024, and the Redmi Turbo 4 would possibly be launched next month in December 2024. He also notes that the Redmi K80 device may be priced at CNY 2K (~ CNY 2499/CNY2599), while the Redmi Turbo 4 could carry a price tag of CNY 1.5K.

If we look into the previous Redmi K70 and Redmi Turbo 3 smartphones, the two were released at starting prices of CNY 2499 and CNY 1999 respectively. However, as of now, the two are selling at CNY 2199 and CNY 1699 starting prices respectively in China. If the above mentioned price tags turn out to be true, Xiaomi might be planning on competing with other brands with a competitive pricing strategy this time.

Redmi K80 – Expected Specs

The Redmi K80 smartphone is believed to come equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor and may have a 1.5K OLED display. A 50MP triple rear camera unit, 120W wired fast charge support, and under-display optical fingerprint scanner are some of its other key specs. It may also be arriving in the global market re-branded as the POCO F7 Ultra smartphone.

Redmi Turbo 4 – Expected Specs

As per earlier updates, the Redmi Turbo 4 smartphone is revealed to feature a 1.5K flat display panel and a plastic middle frame, along with a super large battery backup. It is also reported that this device will also be made available to global consumers re-branded as the next POCO F7 device.
