Bharti Airtel is one of the major telecom service providers in India. On Friday, 11th February, Airtel’s subscribers report interruption of services on Bharti Airtel’s network. Thereafter, Airtel users report that Airtel’s internet service provider services on mobile phones and broadband, along with Airtel Thanks App are not working.

On Friday’s morning, users were sharing about Airtel’s service failure on Twitter under the hashtag, #AirtelDown, as it starts trending on the platform. Moreover, there are memes surfacing on the issue.

Cities affected by Airtel network outage

Airtel users from different cities of India including major ones report the outage.

Delhi, Jaipur, Ahemdabad, Indore, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Kolkata, Patna Lucknow, Nasik, Chandigarh, Nagpur, Raipur, and Guwahati.

Airtel India acknowledges the blackout on Twitter

Firstly, Bharti Airtel cognized the problem on Twitter. Thus, Airtel India handle on Twitter writes that it regrets the inconvenience caused to Airtel users. Further, it adds that services are restored in affected regions. On downdetector, users are commenting about the recovery of network in cities like Pune.

Lately, Airtel has partnered with Google to penetrate the varied demography of India. It was a $1 billion deal.

Moreover, network blackouts are somewhat common. Early this month, Jio suffered through the same. During that, Mumbai’s suburban areas were affected.
