All the six states of northeastern circle get access of 5G service by Reliance Jio
Reliance Jio is rigorously working on its mission to make the 5G service available in every town and taluka of the northeastern states by December 2023. Reliance Jio on Friday announced the launch of its 5G service in a northeastern circle. All 6 northeastern states’ major cities have been tried to cover with Shillong, Imphal, Aizawl, Agartala, Itanagar, Kohima, and Dimapur.
“Starting January 27, Jio users in 7 cities across 6 States of Arunachal Pradesh (Itanagar), Manipur (Imphal), Meghalaya (Shillong), Mizoram (Aizawl), Nagaland (Kohima and Dimapur), and Tripura (Agartala) will be invited to the Jio Welcome Offer, by which they can experience Unlimited Data at up to 1 Gbps+ speeds, at no additional cost,” the company said in a statement made to the Economic Times.
Its expansion in a northeastern circle is going to be a boon for the people because the connectivity is not that much good due to the topography of the region. Just before launching its 5G service in the northeastern circle, Jio rolled out its 5G service in 50 cities which made it the largest 5G service provider in India. Other than this it becomes very important to have 5G service all across India because of India’s presidency at the G20 summit.
India will be hosting meetings in different cities which means delegates from all across the world will be arriving in India, which makes it extremely important to have everything at par with global standards and connectivity is one of that things.
