As now this beta update is available for this smartphone, we hope that Xiaomi will soon release a stable update for this smartphone in India. However, so far no information has been available from the company about the update for this smartphone.
Now those who want to download and test the beta update, follow the steps below:
Download the beta update from this link: https://bigota.d.miui.com/V14.0.2.0.TKHINXM/miui_ALIOTHINGlobal_V14.0.2.0.TKHINXM_f9ee9089e7_13.0.zip
First, make sure that your device has TWRP or OrangeFox custom recovery installed. Then, download the beta update that is suitable for your specific smartphone model. You can find the download link on the MIUI Downloader website.
Next, turn off your smartphone and enter recovery mode by pressing and holding the volume up and power buttons simultaneously.
If you are switching from a different ROM, you will need to format your device. To do this, select the “Wipe” option from the recovery mode menu, and then select “Advanced Wipe.” Enable both the “Dalvik/ART cache” and “Data” options, and then swipe at the bottom of the screen to begin the wipe process.
After formatting your device, go back to the main menu in recovery mode and select the “Install” option. Look for the MIUI 14 file that you downloaded earlier and select it. Then, swipe at the bottom of the screen to confirm the flash and begin the installation process.
Once the ROM installation is complete, select the “Wipe Dalvik” option from the main menu in recovery mode. Then, go back to the main menu and select “Advanced,” followed by “Use Magisk to patch Boot.”
Finally, select the “Reboot System” option to restart your device and start using MIUI 14 on your Xiaomi, Redmi, or POCO device.
Warning: Kindly only update your phone if you are savvy enough to do it.
