JIO true 5G roll out in January 2023, Check the cities where it is available now
With the advent of 5g – A next-generation wireless technology, services in India in October 2022 listed the cities in India to be provided with the same. Jio- the telecommunications company has rolled out its services already in so many Indian cities.
“Jio is deploying the latest version of 5G, called Stand-Alone 5G, which has zero dependencies on our 4G network. With Stand-Alone 5G, Jio can deliver new and powerful services such as low latency connectivity, massive machine-to-machine communication, 5G voice, Edge computing and network slicing, and the metaverse.
Other Indian operators are deploying a version of 5G, called non-Standalone 5G, which is essentially a 5G radio signal delivered over an existing 4G infrastructure and may not deliver True-5G experience to its users” says the information available on https://www.jio.com/5g
Jio True 5G is available in Delhi-NCR, Mumbai, Kolkata, Varanasi, Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune, Nathdwara, Kochi, Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada, Guntur, Tirumala, and all 33 district headquarters of Gujarat with the Jio Welcome Offer. Jio has recently launched Jio True 5G in Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Bhopal, Indore, Trivandrum, Mysuru, Nashik, Aurangabad, Lucknow, Chandigarh Tricity, including areas of Mohali, Panchkula, Zirakpur, Kharar, and Derabassi.
“Since every single village will have 5G connectivity, India will have a historic opportunity to completely erase the rural-urban divide which has plagued our country for so long,” says Mukesh Ambani.
Jio also claims to be the first and only company to be rolling out the phased 5g services in India.
Jio has launched its welcome offer for users wishing to activate their 5g plans.
Under Jio Welcome Offer you will be provided additional Unlimited 5G data along with the existing entitlements under your active recharges/plans.
- The additional unlimited 5G data will work as long as you have a valid active base plan.
